Syd and I sitting outside of the State and Allen restaurant enjoying this gorgeous cool and sunny day. Thank you my love, I so needed this outing. Jan. 31, 2018

Me enjoying a walk through the courtyard of my condo complex just so excited to be moving on two feet (and two crutches) both indoors and outdoors. Jan. 31, 2018

My 84-year-old Mommy cooking dinner for us in my kitchen. Mom got here on Saturday…a Lyft driver picked her up…and will hang out with me until Wednesday when Syd picks her up. These wonderful sleepovers with my Mommy and her taking care of me would not be happening if I had not hurt myself.

We argue and fuss but we wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve so enjoyed hanging out with my Mommy. This needs to be something we do even when I get better. Jan. 8, 2018

This is how my afternoon was looking as I was taking my stroll through Dallas’s Deep Ellum. A very sweet young man took this photo of me by this gorgeous mural. He and I talked and then I was on my way. My plan was and is to write about the various characteristic and colorful neighborhoods that surround and include the downtown Dallas area. (Nov. 16, 2017)

Laying on the roll away bed in Baylor’s emergency room. It took forever to get the technician to put on the splint and then for them to check me out. And, trying to get something that to hold up my leg, but getting that kind of help in the emergency room, is just not possible.

Not sure how I had the presence of mind to call Dr. Curry’s office but I am just so glad that I did. Because everything was done to get me into the doctor’s office ASAP.

This is me on the side walk ground at Commerce close to the traffic light at Malcolm X. I knew something was wrong, but I didn’t panic and called Marion, who called upon Saint Cassandra to come to my rescue. (Nov. 16, 2017)
