Along with the 18th-century Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue there is also a cultural museum on the Punda side of Willemstad, Curacao. Photos cannot be taken inside the museum. But this is the outdoor entryway to the museum which contains replicas of tombstones from the 17th century of the tombstones at the Beth Haim cemetery. The fumes from the adjacent refinery rendered the tombstones illegible. (Nov. 30, 2018
